Modbus – ASCII gateway solution (PG-100-101-159) is an embedded monitoring and control solution for devices supporting ASCII protocol. We support both Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP IP protocols. Whereas the ASCII driver is general purpose and can be customized based on project requirements.
The Modbus – ASCII Gateway Solution can be configured in the following combinations:
ASCII Client and a Modbus Server: PG-100-101-159 Gateway can be configured to acquire data from a remote server utilizing ASCII Protocol and then serve the data over Modbus Protocol.
Modbus Client and an ASCII server: PG-100-101-159 Gateway can be configured to acquire data from a remote server utilizing Modbus Protocol and then serve the data as ASCII .
We can provide a customized solution for various ASCII data structure and we also have similar solutions that can support BACnet and SNMP Protocols.
