This Gateway supports BACnet MS/TP and OPC DA/UA protocols. It is a Bi-directional Converter that can be configured as a Client and/or a Server on either protocol interface.
When configured as a BACnet MS/TP client, the Gateway can read data from your BACnet MS/TP devices and serve the data on OPC DA/UA. Also, it can write commands sent from the OPC DA/UA side to the BACnet MS/TP devices.
When configured as an OPC DA/UA client, the Gateway can read data from your OPC DA/UA devices and serve it as BACnet MS/TP data. Also, it can write commands sent from the BACnet MS/TP side to the OPC DA/UA devices.
The Gateway can be configured to behave as a server on both BACnet MS/TP and OPC DA/UA interfaces. This mode is useful when data exchange is required between a BACnet MS/TP client (for e.g. SCADA) and an OPC DA/UA client (for e.g. a Building Management System).
